amazing onsen. me and my partner came in the off season (may) and we had a wonderful experience, however it is more of a place for a day trip in the off season. we dont have a car and so we booked 2 nights. you can take the sekiyama bus it runs till 6pm. great place that i wish we came to in the winter! however it was nice because it was very private, only myself and my partner were staying. the english of the innmaster is pretty good but needed to use my japanese and some translating to aid!
the onsen was beautifully iron rich. with a view of the mountains!

Very cool, retro vibe in the lodge. The staff are fantastic, the food was delicious, the room was very comfortable, & the onsen facilities were very nice.
The outdoor bath is on the colder side, but the inside bath is nice & warm, so there is a nice difference between the two to try out.

Loved the staff, they were amazing and helpful in every way possible. The onsen was amazing there was an indoor onsen and outdoor, both were hot and beautiful. We spend a week here, this hotel is a little bit off the beaten track, but 100% worth the extra little drive.

The hosts are wonderful people. Made me feel very welcome and at home whilst I stayed. They were friendly and kind, helped me and showed me new things. I felt apart of the family whilst I was there. Very well cared for. The facilities were comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the traditional sleeping arrangements. The food was exceptional, I wish I could eat there all day every day.
The location was easy to find and was very close to the ski lift. I will absolutely stay again.
