Wow! I don’t even know how to express our stay but this is one of the Ryokan that we have to thought about visiting again. Everything was perfect! This is the real Ryokan that we want to experience,The greetings welcoming , the hospitality, the food also delicious !
One more thing that’s really impressed us was that “Okami-San” came to visit us during the dinner, she really kind even though we don’t speak Japanese she tried to communicate with us. She also recognized one of my family members who his birthday just passed 2 days ago, she came to wishing him a birthday and when we checked out she also gifted him a birthday gift. Such a heart warming place.
Oh forgot to mention the hotel, the Onsen has such a beautiful view not that big but no crowded at all! I think because they don’t accept that many guests per day which make us feel so relaxed and privacy.
Every staff member are nice and kind.

The hotel is stunning! The service was wonderful.
The food was amazing (we eat Kosher and no raw fish) and we booked it 2 months in advance after another ryokan couldn't prepare food for us even tho they said they could, and immidiately I;ve got a reply to my request with questions and a will to accomodate us and we really apriciate it.
The onsen was a dream (especcially the outdoor one).
Our friend had to live after one night in instead of 2 and the person who did our check in was nice and suggested to give her some refund wvwn tho it was same day notice.
Will definitly come back again if we have the chance and will recommed it to everyone weknow :)

The hotel is small and boutique. The owner and all staff are very nice. As many reviews, all foods are amazing. Do not miss to making reservation for a delicious dinner and order some sake. Breakfast is so good. All ingrediants are local. The pumpkin is very very sweet🥰. Sharing toilet, Onsen and bathing room is not a problem for me.
Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa is located next to Kinugawa River, just a 6-minute drive from Kinugawa Onsen Train Station. It features various entertainment facilities like karaoke and table tennis.
