The best hotel in Tokyo — without a doubt! I’ve stayed at many hotels in Japan, but Mimaru was truly special. My father wasn’t feeling well and needed to see a doctor, and the entire staff, including the manager, went above and beyond to help us. They made sure he could see a doctor immediately, even accompanying us to the clinic and helping with translation — not just once, but twice! We were deeply touched by their kindness and care. They constantly checked in to make sure my father was okay throughout our stay, all the way until checkout. We are truly grateful for everything they did. As for the location — it’s perfect. Close to shops, malls, Uniqlo, Don Quijote, and just a 3–5 minute walk from both the JR Station and the subway. The room was spotless, and the check-in instructions were very clear. Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything!

The location is easy to access. Near Ryogoku station. You can walk easily to Asakusa also. The room is enough spacious. The bathroom is very clean and easy to use. There was a view of Sumida river from our room but it is not something exceptional. The price was good. For the first trip to Japan, the hotel felt great.

Sola is a consistently excellent accommodation that I recommend to everyone. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are immaculate. Service is outstanding. Location can’t be beat. Free laundry. Gorgeous soaker tubs. Huge apartment styled rooms. A stunning rooftop patio. Compliments snacks and coffee and tea. Kind employees who are so helpful. Home away from home. Walking distance to great shopping and food and amazing transportation. If you are going to Disney, make sure to check out the bus from the Skytree Solamachi that is direct to Disney in the morning and back home in the evening. You can’t beat the price of 800¥. Also the pastries and coffees at Penny Lane at Skytree are delicious. We just adore Sumida.
