Our japanese room was fantastic - with tatami, futons and yukatas. In the morning I chose the japanese breakfast and it was good decision :)
Absolutely perfect, very friendly staff (they stored our luggae during our trip to Kyoto - thank You!)
The location of the hotel is really good - close to the metro station and some good restaurants (hidden gems!)

I am so happy I choose this hotel - a perfect location in the heart of Asakusa, top stairs from Ginza line, Tobu Line, Asakusa line making it super easy to transfer oneself around Tokyo. A top plus is the direct connection to Haneda / Narita airports via Asakusa line. The hotel staff & cleaning team was awesome, always supporting us and ensuring our stay is comfortable. Thank you so much!
P.S you need to try Ichiran ramen just right next to Tobu hotel. Top notch!

1. Really good location
- easy access to Ueno station (approx 5 min walk), which is a great base to explore Tokyo
- close to all the Ueno shops and restaurants but across the road - alot quieter on this side but just 5 mins to the busy part.
- 7-11 right outside the hotel - easy access to late night snacks or extra water/drinks or anything you might have forgotten to pack.
2. The staff were really friendly. Always happy to help.
3. Comfy room. Bed was a little on the harder side but still very comfortable
