Considering that we were in Japan, our room was a good size tough still a little cramped. the bathroom was excellent, and we definitely appreciated having a fridge. The other amenities such as the laundry and water available on the second floor were much appreciated. However, we are passing along a HUGE shout out to the people at the front desk notably the assistance manager and one of the young women (I'm so sorry I didn't write their names down because they deserve high praise) who helped us as my wife became ill when we stayed at the hotel (a strain of Influenza A was apparently going around Shin Yokohama at the time). They helped us with getting an appointment at a nearby clinic and then walked us over. That's service above and beyond (The service at the clinic, by the way, was very good). We also appreciated the hand drawn maps for the area that showed us where various useful things such as stores, the Ramen Noodle museum, and cafes/restaurants were. In addition, we liked the set-up on the main floor with the waiting area away from the lobby. Finally, if we're back in Shin Yokohama, we'll try the breakfast as it looked quite good. Nice dining room.

Perfect for what I needed. A base to go to and from Yokohama Station. Really comfortable rooms with good amenities! Also booked a smoking room but they changed it to an available non-smoking room for me - thank you. As much coffee, tea and bath salts as you need available at reception. Lovely staff and felt well rested after my stay.
