We were very happy to stay in this beautiful hotel with a great staff. From check-in to check-out, everything was fine. The rooms are modern and offer a fantastic view. The area is very nice and clean. The food at the Welligama Kitchen is definitely a highlight, and we enjoyed the excellent food and service a lot. We would like to express a special thank you to our personal "assistant," Nishadi; she was very kind and helpful. We would also like to thank the great kitchen and service team, with a special mention to Nazmi, Thiruna, and Fayaz. They truly made a difference by doing a fantastic job in making us feel very welcome and providing a high-end service. In conclusion, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of outstanding service, luxurious accommodations, and culinary delights made it a truly memorable experience. First things first: The Owner! Prasad is an amazingly welcoming person, very helpful and flexible. When we felt unwell one day - he found a doctor and drove us there and back (Thank you once again!). Different local breakfast every day prepared by the owner with explanations for each dish. Accommodation is at a walking distance to the beach and main street with markets. Cleaned every day, towels and towel bag for free! You can also buy bottles of water in the accommodation , take the bottle and leave the money - which is very handy if markets are closed. Overall - very clean and very cosy place! :)

Location was superb, set back off the Main Street from Mirissa town just enough so that no noise could be heard apart from the birds and monkeys swinging from the trees but also less than a 5 minute walk into Mirissa town for all the bars and restaurants and the beach front. The hosts and all the staff were extremely friendly and felt you had everything you needed. The villa we stayed in had a private infinity pool looking out into the jungle and an outdoor shower which gave the place a luxury feel at such a low price. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious and included lots of Sri Lankan dishes, it also varied each day so it was nice to not have the same thing.

Charindu and the staff are amazing. I have had a great stay and from 6 accommodations in Sri Lanka, this is my favourite (also compared to hotels). I had some special request due to some health issues and they arranged everything so that it would suite my needs. Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Super clean villa! You can really see that it matters to them more than just to make money. Loved the fact that is close to nature and away from the loud music or the road. Lots of birds and animals 🥰 I would definitely stay here and would not trade it for another place

The hotel is located directly at the beach. We stayed at one of the 6 beautifully designed bungalows and woke up with a view on the sea. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Apart from the modern and minimalist rooms, the staff working at Swell is just great. Everyone is kind and looking after you. Overall there is a very chill and happy vibe.
