It was an unforgettable experience staying at this hotel. The view was stunning, with fresh coconuts right from the tree, a perfect, fresh breakfast, and one and only host. He took care of us like family members and was always nearby when we needed him. It’s 100% the most beautiful and peaceful place in Mirissa!

Thusara guest house is above all a beautiful place, at the end of a small corner of paradise. The room I occupied is a typical beach vacation room. There is space, it feels good! The bathroom, very large, hot water at will, inside the room, good bedding, silent air conditioning, on top, fan. And icing on the cake, a wifi, fast! :.) Here, it is above all a place where you like to come back and find a friend, with whom to share your day or more intimately, your life. Thusara, smiling, happy, jovial, always ready to help and advise the best corners. It is a pleasure to have met his wife, his children. The room is located 1 mn from the beach... a short way down... nearby, restaurants, bars... far enough away not to be disturbed at night. At your disposal, a small kitchen, fridge, electric kettle... the breakfasts are extra!! For experienced surfers, Mirissa beach and not far, Matara.. for beginners, 5 minutes by scooter, Weligama beach (turning point school was great). The top of the top... and even Muy Thai lessons nearby (ask at the restaurant on the beach run by a Frenchman). I advise, of course, Go for it!

We stayed at Brave Resort for two days and had a wonderful experience. The resort is conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from Mirissa Beach and about 11 minutes from Secret Beach. However, we do not recommend Secret Beach, as it is very rocky with strong waves. Many visitors, including us, ended up with scratches on our legs and backs—it’s quite dangerous for swimming. The owner of the resort was incredibly kind and lives on-site with his family. His wife prepared a delicious breakfast for us every morning, which we really enjoyed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making our stay very pleasant. One of the great advantages is that the owner also has a tuk-tuk and can take you wherever you need to go. He was always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying in a smaller resort like this rather than a big hotel. It gives you a more authentic Sri Lankan experience, allowing you to try homemade local cuisine and connect with the people, their culture, and their way of life. If you're looking for a cozy and welcoming place in Mirissa, Brave Resort is a great choice.

Best location in Mirissa you can find! If you dont like to stay in the middle of the touristic town, and love a more private place with a view. Then you will love the London Villa. The location and the view are stunning, and the villa is just 3 minutes walk from "secret beach", which is a true gem of a beach. The villa is a few minutes uphill, but with a scooter or tuktuk easy to reach. And you won't feel like you are in a touristic busy place at all. The villas location is calm and serene. The place is brand new, and only has 2 rooms, which are simple but clean and functional. The owner is amazing and super helpful to show you places, help you get around, find you the best local food, etc. he is a wonderful and proud host. Definitely recommend this place!
