Wow! We chose this place because it was close to the Immigration office and to the place we were going to work, and because the pictures looked good. I usually take the pictures on Booking with a pinch of salt but at Villa 53 the pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the place! It is all you see and more. We were literally welcomed with open arms as though we were old friends and not complete strangers. Sriyantha and Champi welcomed us into their palatial home with smiles and hugs and a delicious glass of ice cold juice. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with big comfy beds with thick duvets and soft pillows. The bathroom is huge with a walk in shower and a bathtub. The pool in the backyard is big enough to swim laps if you're so inclined, perfect temperature. We sat outside in the evening and enjoyed the beautiful garden, the birdsong and the soft perfume from the flowers. In the morning the ladies made us a wonderful breakfast of omelets and fruit, the first day and a Sri Lankan breakfast the second day. Both were great. The immigration office is a 5 minute walk from the Villa. Very convenient. Sriyanta drove us to a great restaurant in the evening and came an picked us up when we were done! Service above and beyond. We were sorry to have to leave and will definitely want to stay here again when we come back to Colombo. We arrived as strangers (not for long) and departed as (almost) family.

Truly five star experience, from the time we entered , valet to reception , restaurant staff to life guards were amazing n made us feel special n welcome from their hearts . Also the French , Chinese and Wine restaurants along with sweet factory was just exceptional. Props to the management.

My stay at Ceylon Stayz was amazing! In particular I loved the hosts, they were truly helpful and friendly, they treated me like a friend since I arrived! Also, I had a great breakfast and the Single room was clean and tidy, the air conditioning worked perfectly! Super recommended!
