Very nice hotel hosted by a lovely family. The room was comfortable. Altough there were no windows to the outside, the lamps and the blue wall made it very peaceful and gave the same experience. Breakfast was outstanding

Amazing place!!! Beautiful interiors, spacious room with fridge and small kitchen, peaceful and quiet, beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views, incredibly helpful staff, everything was spotless clean, great Internet, etc etc. Just perfect 10/10 I forgot to mention the breakfast - strong coffee, fresh orange juice, artisan soft cheese and Moroccan olives - just delicious! The homemade peanut butter was definitely the hero though!!! Eat it on the homemade flatbread with homemade strawberry jam - honestly to die for and we never even peanut butter! We also really liked all the other travellers who stayed here which was a little added bonus 🥰

Rooms were great . The beds comfortable. The two young lads were terrific. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They had great recommendations for tour guides and restaurants . The breakfast was excellent. The location was convenient . Loved everything about this place .

My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. Everything was really good. We had a room with a balcony with an amazing view to the city.. Mohamed gave us a little tour of the city because we had some issues with kids surrounding our car and being aggressive because they thought we were taking pictures of them and also right at the parking lot we saw a motorcycle accident with people fighting and blood all over their faces. This was not the Dar fault and Mohamed was so great by reassuring us and guide us through the city center.
