I travelled as a single woman, and the area was very safe to walk around alone. I walked here from the Centraal train station with a suitcase and it was easy to find and not too far to walk. I would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast was very generous with lots of options.

A unique place. Great location for walking around Amsterdam. A very nice, spacious room with a big double bed and a kitchen annex with a fridge and a coffee machine - plus complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom was great too with a special extra - a private sauna, which felt very nice at evenings. Esther, the host, was very accommodating and helpful. She makes her guests feel very welcome. She serves a very rich breakfast to the room at the agreed time.
