Very very Close to buses, trams, airport buses, ethnic restaurants, bars, grocery stores. It was very easy to take the tram to all the vintage shops before flying home.

The hotel was lovely, great staff and breakfast was delicious. The room was comfy and cozy with a lot of space ✨️ The welcome staff gave me a room upgrade and allowed me to check in early with minimal charge, this was extremely helpful! This is also very close to public transport or if to want to walk to Grünerløkka its 15 min walk. Thanks!

Location, location and location. It’s so close to Oslo sentralstajon where you can take Flytoget Airport Express train approx $22 each way. It’s also walking distance to Oslo Opera House, Munch Museum and Mathallen Food Hall where you can find the best fish soup. It’s even walkable distance to Akershus fortress and Astrup Fearnley Museum. The hotel staff are super nice and friendly. The room is very spacious and clean.

Scandic Vulkan is located right by the Akerselva River and the popular Oslo Food Hall, 5 minutes’ walk from the trendy Grünerløkka district.

I felt bad because our train was over an hour late, but host was very kind and understanding. Speaks English very well so easy to communicate with. It's close to the tram and multiple busses, so it's easy to get around. At our host's suggestion we did the "family breakfast" at the Turkish restaurant below the apartment and it was AMAZING. Was able to do a load of laundry, which was incredibly helpful. Oslo is a really expensive city and this is a FANTASTIC deal of you're looking for an affordable place to stay.

This was my second stay at this wonderful property in central Oslo, and it was just as perfect as the first time. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, with cafés, shops, and transport all within a short walk. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt warm and welcoming.
