Outstanding value for money. Excellent knowledgeable and professional staff, very clean, lovely rooms with a great range of English language television programmes. Great bathroom. Everything very modern. Complimentary transfers were excellent both ways tailor made to suit my requirements with perfect communication. I had a very late flight and they let me stay in the room until 6pm free of charge. Easy walk to the metro station and they give you a card to use on the metro. I've stayed in Porto several times and this hotel is by far the best.

EVERYTHING, but mostly how quiet it was... .. . The rest was just spacious for an apartment for 2 people. The bathroom was good enough... .. . It being soundproof was to me personally the best thing of all... .. . Bed was good... .. . Kitchen was good... .. .

Very cosy guesthouse where you stay with friendly family. Very clean and nicely prepared. I felt very well there. Also the district is great, walking distance everywhere but far enough from main noise. Few nice cafés just between the house and metro.

We liked the welcome from the staff, especially the nice guy from the reception (whose name I unfortunately forgot) giving us such great advice with regards to our visit in Porto as well as Sara from the restaurant and Rafael who was always there to open the hotel door and call the elevator. The hotel is also amazing, the rooms very big and there is everything you need. It is a 15 minutes walk to the centre of Porto and so much more quiet! So this is the right place to chose if you want to have a good sleep at night. The staff did everything to accommodate our needs and we felt welcome at any time. If I ever return to Porto, this is the place I would stay again. Thank you all - you are amazing.

Our stay at Douro Golden Studio was delightful. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place was clean and had a wonderful fragrance inside. I must also commend our hostess, Ani, who informed us about all the worthwhile places to visit in Porto. She prepared us so well that we had a wealth of information to use during our trip.
