The hotel is located near the Chinatown MRT station, which is about a 3-4 minute walk away. There is assistance available for carrying luggage before reaching the hotel. The front desk staff are fluent in both English and Chinese, and they are friendly with charming smiles. The rooms are very clean, and the view from the window is excellent. The breakfast is delicious. It was a fantastic accommodation experience.

Good location, very central and quiet, beds are comfortable and specious enough. I like the concept of dorms and I really appreciate that shoes stays outside so no bad smell of shoes in room. Also lockers are good and specious for backpack.

Everything. We booked the club lounge which is highly recommended. Great breakfast, free drinks (soda, juice, coffee) and snacks during the day and free wine/beer in the evening from 18-20 with a small but good selection of food. The pool area on level 21 for the club lounge guests is also really nice.

The location couldn't have been better. It's strategically positioned just across from the Chinatown MRT station, with easy access to the Maxwell Food Court and numerous other attractions. Plus, it maintained a high level of cleanliness throughout, which left me thoroughly impressed with the overall experience.

Location is great. Very near MRT stations and a lot of restaurants and food stalls nearby with Maxwell Hawker Centre and Chinatown just a few minutes walk. A wonderful pool to chill and very clean and safe premises. Beddings and pillows are the best we have had out of all the hotels we've been to that we have been looking to purchase them online. Rooms are a little tight specially if you have a lot of luggages but we knew it's pretty standard size for SIngapore hotels so it didn't bother us. We are a group of 22pax and we enjoyed our stay in Mercure Icon during the Christmas season.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always greeted guests coming and going from the downstairs cafe in a manner which made the stay feel very homely and welcoming. The location was fantastic- you can get anywhere you want to either by walking or with the MRT (there are two stations within a 5 minute walk of the hostel). There are also a number of fantastic and delicious restaurants in the neighbourhood.
