If you choose facilities in this area of Khao Lak, we have to take into consideration that evening venue are limited; in this place you have to Mini markets and 3 small restaurants outside and on the beach there are some restaurants too. Party = 0. Beaches in Kl are for sure one of the best in thailand.
The rooms are very nice, I suggest to take a room with pool if you are with friends or family; the Ressort is new and staff is very friendly and for sure there English is far better than in other places

Bangsak Village is a secret oasis. I love that it is adults only. No noisy splashing kids at the pool.
One day three single ladies arrived at the pool with their boom box. We much appreciated the staff quickly and discreetly addressing this and we returned to the serenity that we loved.
The rooms are beautiful. The restaurant was situated looking over the beach. The food was great and the included breakfast was delicious. There are other cheaper restaurants nearby on the beach that were good too along with some excellent massage places on the beach too.
Walk either direction on the beach to other resorts at low tide and check out that Bangsak village was definitely the best option!
The property is well maintained and feels like a private lush oasis.
