Beautiful rooms with great facilities set on a gorgeous bay. The pool area is lovely and the staff are attentive, helpful and kind. They made many special accommodations for us and this was a standout experience from our trip!

Cactus Boutique on Koh Tao is a newly opened hostel that also offers private rooms and a hotel-quality experience. The double room is modernly furnished and equipped with all the essentials. There’s ample storage space for belongings, and the balcony is a particularly nice touch—perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Guests receive a 10% discount at both Cactus Café and The Lazy Coconut, two excellent dining spots owned by the same people who run the hotel. Both offer a great selection of meals, with Cactus Café known for its wide variety of breakfasts and quality coffee. The location isn’t directly on the beach, but Sairee Beach and Koh Tao’s walking street are just a short walk away. Earplugs are provided in the room, as music from nearby beach bars can occasionally be heard. However, it’s clear that the hotel staff has made an effort to minimize noise when designing the rooms—for example, by using thick curtains.

Everything was beyond excellent and our stay was smooth and amazing. We stayed at B2 room (the one which has bathroom and bedroom on one level) and it was fantastic. Super comfy, big bed, room was spotless clean. Every day our towels were changed and room cleaned up. We also got water bottles every day. The staff is very helpful and polite. Because we came for our honeymoon we received a complimentary bottle of wine and a vouchers to one of the restaurants which was very tasty. The taxi from and to the Pier on our arrival and departure was arranged by the hotel and it was also complimentary. We also rented a bike from them and gave our laundry to be done without any problems and for good price. 100% recommended! If we will ever come back to Koh Tao this will be our place to stay. Thank you very much!

I stayed for 3 weeks and loved the location, very clean, comfortable, the curtains are excellent at creating your own space if you wish, i had no issues with noise and the balcony attached was really nice to be able to take private calls and not disturb room mates!

These guys looked after me so well. Really nice views from the balcony. 5 mins walk from 24/7 stores and other shops. plenty of places around siree to hire a scooter.

Bai and Piu were amazing at looking after the guests, and sorting out bookings for activities and the ferry to other islands. They were very accommodating and happy to extend my stay. I originally was going to stay for 3 days and stayed for about 9. It was a nice little hostel which could be social with a few shared areas, but not a party vibe, so it was nice to meet other travellers and ways to organise activities with then without going all out on hostel drinking.
