Such a friendly hostel! The staff working here is so lovely and helpful. It's very easy to meet other travellers in the communal space. Breakfast, complimentary coffee/tea and water are such an excellent addition. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom area is clean and spacious. Great location, right in the centre of the old town.

Everything!!! this is such an amazing boutique hotel. you feel like you are in paradise. as soon as you enter the porch, you are in front of the pool, surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. The two buildings surround it, so it seems very secluded, even if it’s very close to everything. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and shops around the hotel. Two minutes walk to the Sunday night market which was absolutely amazing. The rooms are very comfortable abd beautifully decorated. we got fresh fruit at arrival and during our stay. water bottles were provided every day, beautiful bath robe, and slippers and comfortable beds. Everything was perfect! The breakfast was very good as well and you could order some things that were not on the Buffet table. Will definitely come back here when we go to Thailand. Would definitely recommend this quiet, cozy and elegant boutique hotel!!!

Great place to meet people and a really good part of Chiang Mai, everything is so convenient, there's also a park near where people workout and do yoga in the morning.
The owner is a great guy, very nice and helpful, the staff are lovely. I was lucky to meet some fellow travelers who turned out to be amazing people and made my stay in Chiang Mai more exciting. Would definitely go back there again, if I have the chance.

The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Chiang Mai old town. It was steps away from the night market and from many lovely restaurants. The staff was incredible and offered advice and help with sites and bookings. The complimentary snacks offered on a 24-hour basis was greatly appreciated, as was the laundry service. The reviews are legit and this hotel deserves the high ratings it gets! I don’t believe we’ve ever stayed at a hotel as clean as Villa Thai Orchid and would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone planning a stay in Chiang Mai.
