The location is great, right in the middle of Tunis.The room was spotless, we had 2 big bottles of water complimentary and also some delicious cookies.The garden is great, with some lemon tree and orange tree.It is really beautiful decorated!The greatest aspect of this Dar is the owner, he is truly a kind man , with a truly sense of hospitality.He can help you with the transfer to the airport for a very good price!I am really gratefull that I had the opportunity to meet him!

This little riad is just magical - stunningly beautiful and cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was precious. I was awed by the beauty and comfort. The A/C worked great, which was crucial in +47C (110F( heat). The staff was very accommodating and plain sweet.

Absolutely beautiful little spot. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even coming out at midnight to help find us in the souk warren on arrival. The rooms and spaces have so much character and the breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. The location is ideal for exploring Tunis and is a little oasis amongst the wonderful chaos. Only regret not being able to stay longer.

La Chambre Bleue is one of the best B&B I ever stayed at. It's so beautiful and tastefully decorated! The breakfast provided by the hosts is delicious and has great variety. It's in the heart of the Medina and within 2 minutes walk to restaurants and cafes. The room is very quiet at night. I have no complaints. I am recommending this to any friend who plans to visit Tunis!

The hotel exceeded expectations. It offers 5-star service and room facilities, comfort and an excellent hammam offering a wonderful massage (and other services), as well as friendly and helpful staff. The quality of the room furnishings was of a high standard, the bathroom was immaculate, beautifully designed and stocked with toiletries. There was a wonderful welcome pack of snacks, chocolates, and even a range of tinned fish! The fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks, eggs, milk, and plenty of water. The hotel has lovely little outdoor spaces like the tranquil and beautiful courtyard with a fountain in the middle and a lovely roof terrace with views of the old city, where you can enjoy the tasty generous breakfast which consisted of a range of fresh pastries and cakes, omelette, cold meats, fresh seasonal fruit, gorgeous coffee, hot chocolate for the kids and lovely fresh juices. We left to go to hammamat for some days in a so-called “5 star” all inclusive resort and just wanted to go back to Dar Ben Turkia! If you want to be in the midst of the vibrant Medina with culture and history, as well as the hustle and bustle of the souk, while being able to escape to an intimate haven of luxury and comfort, this is the place for you!

It's basic of course, but for what you're paying, it's great value. Location is super, near to the heart of the medina and an easy taxi drop off location, but still quiet at night! The place is super spacious and while I did not use it, the kitchen seems well stocked. Wifi and AC were strong, bed was comfortable, really couldn't complain! And the host is super responsive and helpful over text! She made it possible for me to check in early because I had no where to leave my luggage after an early morning flight, which I was so thankful for.

Dar Meriem is located in the heart of Tunis Old Town Medina and you have 5 minutes to reach old market Suq , Zeitouna Mosquee, Cofee Mrbet etc. On the other hand it is very calm and quiet area and the flat is very comfortable and equipped with all what necessary to stay for one, two weeks or even the whole month. Nice small but well equipped kitchen with small coffee machine, gas cooker, fridge and all dishes. Two sleeping rooms and living room with big sofa TV and table, clean bathroom. The flat is warm with central heating (the owner with family live upstairs) The owner is very kind, polite and helpful man who can support if anything is needed (e.g. pick us up very late from the airport due to big flight delay, provided with baguettes when all the boulangeries have been already closed in the evening etc.) Generally the nearby area is safe and charming like the typical oriental old town) Many coffees, tea and shisha bars, many local fast foods. This is also good start point to explore centre of Tunis on foot or by taxi. I really recommend this place and sure will visit it next time with family or friends
