This is not a hotel. It's a home away from home.
We stayed here as part of our 2 months traveling journey from Africa to Asia and we did not regret it. After the long journey, it was just nice to be able to relax in a living room, have nice moments, and enjoy a simple home cooked meal made from the kitchen. Tolkan, the host, is always ready to help with our requests or questions, and we felt like we were with an old friend.
The house also has a very good soundproof windows. So though it's located by the main road - you' hardly hear noise from the road.

Mustafa met us as we arrived and spent half an hour showing us the panoramic views of the neighbourhood and explaining the layout of Izmir. He then gave us lots of information about places to visit and eat at. An exceptional history and a lovely large property.
