This is my second time staying at this hostel and was the reason that I came to Tainan for. The hostel is exceptional compared to all other ones I have stayed in. There are books all over the building, incorporated with traditional Taiwanese style building. Two stays, four years apart, still my favourite hostel.

The facilities are all really new, feel comfy when enter, smell good The room really clean, big and well organized furniture (nice sofa, huge bed, widescreen TV, reasonable desk) The prices are reasonable even cheap with the services and location The staffs also really kind and helpful, they greeting everytime u re-entry the building The small things is to provide free detergent which a lot of places don't do that

The staff were very friendly upon arrival and for the duration of our stay. The room was very well equipped with all amenities you could think of. Balcony was a bonus! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the aircon was on point. Cantonese restaurant was good, although a few dishes were forgotten about, but the male waiter was very young and apologised for his mistake. Food was tasty and decent portions, although a little pricey.

In the West Central District district of Tainan, close to Chihkan Tower, Chapter 127 features a shared lounge and a washing machine.

Very nice place to stay with lovely staff. We had a massive room and there was a washing machine in the King Suite that was quite useful to do laundry, however a clothesline to hang clothes would have been appreciated. The room is very clean and comfortable. There is a luggage storage facility which is great and easy to use. We had an issue with the room key not working at the entrance and they were very responsive on Line. There’s a little plastic door on the card reader and you’re supposed to open it even though sometimes it works fine without opening it. The wifi is very good, we were working remotely and had video calls and had no connection issues. Highly recommend Chapter 127 for anyone who needs a place to stay in Tainan.
