I call it a Smart Hotel like a hotel from the 21st century should be. We loved the room tablet for all the controls for the room eg lighting colours, air conditioning. The bed was massive and really comfy. The shower had 2 shower heads. The common areas were inviting with artwork, books, friendly and helpful staff, big buffet breakfast, late night bar, swimming pool on the roof. We came to Austin for the live music and it is very close to E 6th St where all the night life is.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace as well as a bar, East Austin Hotel is set in the centre of Austin, 2.2 km from Shoal Beach.
