I stayed for a conference since the conference hotel was booked and I’m so glad I did. My room had a cozy fireplace and a stunning view of the bay. The whole property is charming, as are the staff. Plenty of nooks to settle into in the public areas, too, though I didn’t have time for that. This is a lovely inn, and I’ve already rebooked for next year.

Nice renovated hotel keeps the original spirit. Clean, cosy with great ocean view rooms - extra money was worth it. We enjoyed some nice time by the fireplace watching otters play :) Staff is super nice and helpful.

The location is incredible! A 5 minute walk to Canary Row and a few minutes more to all the seals! The Old Wharf is about a 20 minute walk as well. I took the shuttle from San Jose Airport and walked to the hostel. A walkers dream location! Everything was very clean and very comfortable beds. Loved the pillow! Favorite hostel I've stayed at in the US.

We loved Monterey! The place itself is nice, private parking, good space room, comfy beds. The biggest advantage - location. About 20 min to the Aquarium and 20 min to restaurants the other way. The amazing thing is that you walk to restaurant and see sea lions just chilling on the rocks..
