We had an amazing stay at the Bowery Hotel. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. Room service was delicious and prompt. We had just gotten married earlier in the day and the hotel had arranged to have champagne waiting in our room for us which made us feel so special. We met friends for celebratory drinks in the hotel that evening and the cocktails were amazing and the environment was excellent. Lively and cool without being over-done or too loud.

The location was perfect pretty much central to everything we wanted to see/do. The pop up breakfast cafe was fantastic scrummy pastries and barista coffee very good, as a New Zealander that’s very important! Also loved the Alphabet and roof top bar, great to hang out in after a long day.

The room is cozy and nice. Alice who is my host is friendly and helpful. The place is also so near to the metro station that it is very convenient to get around.

The keys collection process was easy, although I could not immediately identify the right padlock. I only became aware that there were two padlocks after a number of failed trials. After that, things moved quite smoothly. I reached out to my host concerning the absence of teaspoons and a water kettle in the Apt, and he was very cooperative and promised to make them available. I had reasons to check into the Apt hours before the checkin time, and my host was most gracious in allowing me do so at no extra cost. Also, although I eventually did not need to, he also agreed to let me leave my luggage in the Apt after checkout time, as my flight from JFK was for 11pm that night, and I had planned to leave for the airport at 4pm. There was nowhere else to safely leave the luggage.

Excellent value for money, super friendly host, good location close to many stores and restaurants. Everything was clean and freshly decorated.

In the East Village district of New York, close to New York University, East Village Townhouse has a bar and a washing machine.

The hotel is ideally situated in vibrant East Village, close to subway stations and very well connected to the rest of the city. The bed was very comfortable, the room, bathroom and kitchen corner very clean. The instructions to reach the hotel and for wifi were very clear and sent in advance. I recommend staying at the East Village Hotel and will come back happily when I come back to New York!
