Beautiful unique hotel, tastefully decorated. Great quiet location within Greenwich Village. Close to everything you need. The staff were absolutely lovely especially Ronnie the security guard. Stayed at The Jane for 4 nights at the end of April. Travelled solo as a young woman in her 20s and had absolutely no issues. I was worried after seeing some not so good reviews about the construction, but there was zero disturbance. I wouldn't have even known of it if I hadn't seen the occasional guy wearing a hard hat. The hotel felt safe and was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in the West Village, super charming and walkable! The shared bathroom was always clean, guests were cordial and my little room on the 4th floor was well organized and functional. I had everything I needed for a long weekend of exploring the city. I can safely recommend The Jane for other female travellers. I will stay here again in the future!
