The staff at the Ritz Carlton is excellent -- professional, friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. We had breakfast at the Ritz, a late night hamburger in the "bar" area , and ordered room service -- one the best BLTs I have had. Food and service were first-rate. I also used the workout facilities which were spotless and presented many options -- treadmills, bikes, weights

the hotel was very clean and nice ,just i found horrible san francisco as a city.
the hotel didn’t advise us that is dangerous to walk in some areas and by mistake we went directly there.It was super stressful and dangerous as there were so many homeless people which was looking like zombies,they were all drunk or on drug and the whole situation was super scary .The hotel is in safe area but i believe they have to advise the guests to avoid these dangerous streets .

It is close to bus, metro, and BART stations, making it easy for guests to travel around. Getting from the airport to the hotel by BART is also very convenient. The room was spacious and clean, and it provided all the essentials we needed including clean towels, toiletries and good wifi. The hotel offers affordable rates, making it a great value. We had a pleasant time staying at Handlery Union Square Hotel and visiting San Francisco.
