You could not beat the charm of this hotel and the staff. The history of the hotel is so interesting. The location is amazing, we were literally a ten minute walk from everything! Short walk to the River Front, the Squares, the Prohibition Museum, Cathedral. Location meant we had so much choice for restaurants and eating out on our door step. The look of the hotel was charming as were the interiors. The staff were friendly and helpful and assisted us by storing luggage, organising cabs. The first evening the hotel held a trivia evening with free wine, cheese, nibbles. This was very fun and well organised! The trivia master was an amazing host! We were lucky enough to have 2 evenings of trivia! We only availed of breakfast one morning, it was very busy so a bit haphazard but a pleasant experience. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas too. If you are going to Savannah - stay here.

Excellent location, fabulous property with special rooms. Loved the fact that we got together and chatting with other guests in the parlour for breakfast, hors d’heuvres and port and desserts on an evening. It made for a very social experience. It was easy to arrange tours through the staff at the inn. We lived the farewell card we received upon departure.

Great location, amazing balcony with river view. historical district was beautiful. Nice and supportive personnel. I loved rainy weather and tornado emergency warning 😬. The villa type room (2-floor) was amazing. we enjoyed this city a lot. one of our favourite places during our vacation in US.

The hotel is lovely, located on a cobbled street. Located within an historic Inn. The room was lovely, with a large bed, around the main courtyard area. The courtyard is also where the delicious breakfast is served every morning. The breakfast itself is a choice of two main dishes, which changes every day, with a few additions. The quantity isn't massive, however it was certainly all I needed to get me started for the day. Also it is delicious and served by the friendly staff, with the chef also walking around and checking on people. The hotel also offers wine hour in the evening, with wine and a few snacks ( e.g. cheese ) available. Later in the evening they also served port and desert. Which was a nice touch in the old parlor, and a nice way to meet other guests. On one of the days they also had a gentleman playing the guitar for us during wine hour. The staff, as already mentioned, were wonderful and always willing to help. The hotel being old does have a lot of stairs, narrow corridors. Which wasn't an issue, but something to be aware of. The location is amazing, being within a short walking distance from anywhere in the historic centre of Savannah.

We absolutely loved our stay at Forsyth Park Inn. A beautiful historic inn, overlooking Forsyth Park. Our room was huge, the bed super comfortable, and the staff were incredible and were so helpful, with a great knowledge of Savannah and many spot on recommendations. My highlight was having our delicious breakfast on the patio every morning, as well as the complimentary wine & hors d'oeuvre each afternoon. It was so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the park. Such great hospitality, we can't wait to visit again one day!
