Beautiful old restored house with a lovely bedroom, overlooking Plaza Zabala, close to the Buenos Aires ferry terminal. A very comfortable bed & a themed room with tasteful antique football memorabilia - ours was based on an Uruguayan footballer who played in the first ever World Cup winning team in 1930 - priceless. Breakfast was excellent, including the best muesli I have ever had in my life! The staff were magnificent - kind, helpful, intelligent, good-humoured & genuinely warm people who really made you feel comfortable & welcome. There was a beautiful library to relax in & a magnificent view of the sun setting in the Rio Plata.

This is not a hotel. This is a piece of art! Every bit of FAUNA is a masterpiece. Better charge your iPhone - Instagram gonna love it!
Not mentioning the owner - a fantastically talented Argentinian architect who is not only a wonderful host but also a friend. Thank you for everything!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They had great tips and suggestions for us. The breakfast was also really good!
The location is near many restaurants and the port market, it's very easy to get around the old city and the bus stops across the street to get to the pocitos beach.

Centrally located, with the Mercado del Puerto right across the street. At night this area boasts some nice terraces for a drink and simple dinner. Staff extremely nice and helpful. The rooftop pool with view on the harbour was the cherry on the cake
