Stayed here before and after our trek to Ala Kul. Property was easy to find. Very cosy room. Bright and spacious. A very comfortable bathroom. Functional and a very nicely set-up kitchen and common space. Did laundry once during our stay. WiFi worked fine. They stored some of our luggage when we went on the 4-day trek. And a special thanks to our hosts for going out of their way to get plant-based milk to make us our vegan breakfast!

Ludmilla is a very nice host taking care of her guests. We came late and tired and the processes were easy. We had wonderful 2 days in this original guest house being then farewelled warmly.

The location was great, it was really well equipped with anything you might need - plugs by beds, well equipped kitchen, drying rack, etc.

Great place to stay. Nice room, very clean. Staff were very friendly and keen to help. They kindly held our luggage for a few days whilst we went hiking. Laundry service was good (note: laundry is priced per item). Location was fairly central and a pleasant walk to the centre

The host was amazing. We arrived late in the evening and she helped us organize transport to Altyn Arashan for the next day in the morning. We even got our breakfast packed to-go at 6:00 AM. We came back to stay another night after hiking because we liked it so much and the breakfast was delicious again.

We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. The staff at Biyik are very accommodating and friendly, making for a relaxing environment. The rooms were also really comfortable and the breakfast was always delicious. This was the perfect place to stay for a week in Karakol!
