Beautifully designed hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Free parking in nearby mall was a bonus. Nice restaurant (Kizuna) and cafe down the road. We stopped off here briefly on route to other parts of Crete, arriving late and leaving the next morning so didn't spend a lot of time exploring Heraklion or the local area.

The room was very clean, with a modern design and super comfortable beds — we slept so well! The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of tasty options to choose from. Younger guests can have fun at the 3 children’s pool, at the playground or participate in the games that the animation team organizes. Excellent place for a family vacation. Lots of pools to relax around the hotel plus a water park to top it all off. Staff was very helpful and firendly.

The resort’s Hammam Spa features spa treatment rooms specially designed and fully equipped for multiple treatments, including face and body massages, treatments and scrubs. There are also a sauna and a hammam. Children enjoy their own pools, game rooms and playground. There is a baby room with toys and a kids’ club and a teenagers’ club are at disposal of younger guests, with daily activities planned for them. We loved that it was so big that the beach and pools weren't overly crowded. However, we did stay on the adult exclusive side so our pool was a bit more relaxed and less people. I definitely recommend if you want a relaxed couple trip to go for the adult deluxe for sure. Otherwise you may be surrounded by screaming children. They even have a separate area on a very nice covered patio for adults only at the main buffet. As well as some adult only nights at the restaurants. It is also a very good resort for kids! They had plenty of pools for kids as well as an arcade, waterpark, kids club with activities throughout the day, etc. We ended up just relaxing by the pool/beach but they had activities for adults as well if you're interested in that. Greek lessons, out door cinema, live music, etc. WE LOVEDDD the aperol spritz bar, wish it was closer to the adult pool 😉 (but it's not that far 😂) We loved the view from our seaside room it was beautiful. The way they set up our room for our honeymoon was adorable (and it was free of charge☺️). The room also had an included mini bar, robe, and slippers. The house keepers were incredible! They kept our room super tidy wiped down the floors daily, gave us new towels (including beach ones) Servers were amazing as well, even during rushes they kept their cool. a la cartes were absolutely incredible. Platia's food was INCREDIBLE. I've never been so full in my life. Mademi was also pretty good food wise, but the views were so so good. We didn't get to the others because when looking at the menus they seemed similar to what was at the main buffet for vegetarians.

We spent a very pleasant time at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and caring; the breakfast manifold and fresh; the room and the whole building has an elegant and welcoming style. The location is very central with a great view to the harbor and the opportunity to park the car in walking distance for free. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Port 7 very much and would very warmly recommend it to everyone looking for a nice place in Agios Nikolaos.
