Firdoz arranged a boat to take us through the Dal Lake for an entire day, which we spent fishing, swimming, and sightseeing. Every night I was presented an amazing dinner; Firdoz and his wife worked hard to cook something new for me every night. I was treated like family, and like an honored guest. Besides the house boat, Srinagar is an amazing place. There's a lot of interesting history, unique architecture, and some of the friendliest people I've ever encountered. The monuments of the old city and Mughal gardens are constantly set in relief against a background of huge, green mountains. I really had an unforgettable experience in Srinagar and the biggest part of that was staying here. Thank you Firdoz - can't wait to come back again in the future!

Mr. Bhat is a truly warm and helpful person, and his whole family made us feel like part of theirs. Staying at Hotel Ikraam Inn was a special experience for us, and we warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar.
