Very homey and cozy (our room even had a small box with plush mice "sleeping" in it - an adorable addition to the room!). The room was spacious and had a nice kitchenette. The lobby was very welcoming, and there were always fresh home-baked goods and some home-grown veggies. Outside there were horses and 2 very cute dogs, and the whole atmosphere is of a family farm - in the best way possible! We had to check-in late and the instructions the owners left us on how to enter the room were very detailed (and quite hilarious).

Its the Best place to stay in the golden Circle, the hot tub was incredible, we saw Amazon auroras, the owner was such a cool guy, the Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend it.

Set in Hvolsvöllur in the South Iceland region and Seljalandsfoss reachable within 16 km, Amma Jóna cottage offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a garden and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is situated 19 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. A lovely modern cottage or tiny house on surrounded by super friendly sheep farmer families. We felt at home immediately and were lucky to have booked the same location travelling back and forth the south coast. Very close to Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and Solheimasandur plane wreck. Arrive early and have a walk in the beautifull lush and desolate canyons right past the house. Ideal for couple or family with one or two kids. We'd now recommend to book few days in a row to roam the area.
