Fantastic sunsets from the rock which is a short steep climb above the lodgings, I became more and more relaxed during the 3 days and nights of my stay. A wonderful opportunity to tune in to an almost pristine and peaceful Sri Lankan environment.

It has only 3 rooms (quite basic, but bed is comfortable to sleep), but territory is big and beautiful. Located next to a big lake, and you can take a kayak to ride. Manager Chandana is so friendly and helpful, he recommended to visit an awesome restaurant (Rasta Family Restaurant). Included breakfast is delicious and abundant. Plenty of parking space. No any sound of road, just nature. Very peaceful!

Either the hotel has meanwhile improved or others were just unlucky, but we didn’t experience any of the negative aspects mentioned in the comments. We had a brand new refurbished and very clean room with touch screens, air-con was working perfectly. The pool is very clean, we spent several hours in there. Breakfast buffet has a large choice (both western and Sri Lanka) with great quality. We also went for the diner buffet, wich also offered excellent food at a reasonable price (6000 rupies for two persons except drinks). The hotel lies in walking distance from the train station on a main road, but our room headed to the inner court with the swimming pool and we could not hear any traffic. I can’t say anything about the TV program as I’m not staying in hotels to watch TV.

I felt attention and care throughout my stay. Next time I visit Sri Lanka I will definitely come to this wonderful hotel.
