The owner Francesca is a warm and loving host. She made delicious dinners for us on request. It is a new property with vineyards and olive trees around and conveniently located from major attractions, 10 mintes to San Gimignano, about an hour from Siena, and Pienza The rooms are neat and clean with a good view . Daniela and her sister went out of their way to make our stay memorable.They were very informative about the history and excurtions. Although the restaurant was closed the prepared a light dinner for us and also proposed to take us to a near y restaurant. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.Scrumptious breakfast.

We stayed in the Ignite Apartment on the first floor (stairs only). It was a spacious one-bedroom apartment with views of the countryside and San Gimignano. It is a very old building with thick walls, keeping it cool although there is an airconditioning unit in the hallway between the living area and bedroom. The kitchen area was small with a fridge, small dishwasher and kettle. Instruction cards for the dishwasher and microwave were helpful. The elements for cooking were slow to heat up but did the job eventually. There was a table and chairs and a sofa. The bed was a kingsize and comfortable. Outside there were sunloungers and tables and chairs under the trees or in the sun. The pool was lovely. We did some washing using the machine in the reception building. It was E5 a load and there were plenty of drying racks at the side of the building to hang it on. We also did a wine tasting and bought some wine from the vineyard. You could walk up to San Gimignano if you don't mind a bit of a walk. We enjoyed our few days there as it was very relaxing.

When you arrive you enter through a massive gate with a truly amazing view- this makes you realise that you made a right choice to stay here. The host welcomed us with a bottle of Chianti Classico from their vineyard. Apartment is very clean and Tuscan - exactly what we wanted. You can look through the window and stare at a perfect view of the Tuscan valley and hills. You can do it while taking shower too, and trust me you will. Pool is massive and view from the sun beds spectacular. Even though there are two other apartments next to you, the pool was almost always for private use as people are travelling. There is a gorgeous small town (one of the most beautiful I have seen in Tuscany) with a few restaurants 200m from the apartment. Two of them are totally amazing (we visited one of them at least 3 times during our 6 nights stay) Truly lovely stay for us :) Dog's friendly.

Location was great and so was the room. Staff was great and the breakfast was good. Boiled eggs and fruit and vegetables was a great start of the day for me. They also offered cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt and bread/croissants as well as coffee and cappuccino. We had dinner the first night and the food was good, but not great. The pool area was nice and well maintained.
