The bed was comfortable, and I had everything I needed. I will most definitely visit again!

Access is by a good gravel road. The cottage has every thing you might need with a double bed and 2 small one. The kitchen is well equiped with microwave, stovetop, toaster and kitchenware. There is also a big braai area with a large table. The parking has a roof which was useful after the big storm with hail of my first night.

Beautifully situated with breathtaking views and scenery. The cottage was very well and thoughtfully laid out with everything we needed, and more. A huge new fridge / freezer, super comfy bed (with electric blanket), lovely outdoor Braai area, well equipped kitchen - even an airfryer! We wanted to stay in Ficksburg but there was no accommodation because it was the weekend of the Cherry Festival. It turned out that this was an ace place to be situated because it’s a really beautiful spot and was very close to Ionia Cherry Farm and Sandstone Estates. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Soaps, creams, rusks, sherry etc. We stayed in Unit 4 Cranny. It’s a very rustic but comfortable place. We lacked nothing. Every comfort has been thought of. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and the exceptional sheets and pillows on our bed. If you are a person who enjoys being interconnected with nature (the good, the bad and the ugly) then this is a little place will suite you well. It has great comforts and is exceptionally clean! The view is breathtaking and so is the sunrise over the mountain. We enjoyed our one night stay there! Thank you Karien for your hospitality and attention to detail!

The furnishings are well-thought of and ingeniously re-used and repurposed, aesthetically placed at the same time effective for its practical use. We would surely come back given an opportunity to have overnights in Bloemfontein again, Oudam is on our top list of accommodation option. We will see you again very soon.
