Boschendal was stunning and we loved our Retreat Cottage for our family of four. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and the facilities were all beyond our expectations. Great breakfast with beautiful views. The wine tasting situation was initially not ideal because they seemed to be very crowded and stressed, but it all worked out in the end and they went out of their way to make up for it. The wine was great.

Outside shower marvellous. This place was literally connected with nature. We chose Basic cottage because we wanted to feel it simple way and it was worth it. Straight in the front of the cottage we could observe zebras and elands. Great for relax, out of civilisation. Definitely we will come back.

Gorgeous property surrounded by mountains, fruit orchards and vineyards, water, and a nature reserve. Property was about a 12 minutes drive into Franschhoek town, restaurants, and vineyards. What stood out was Tim’s exceptional hospitality. He was so helpful in planning our stay, making recommendations, making reservations, etc. He even helped us find and book a reservation at our next stop. Thanks, Tim! Would definitely come here again to rest and relax!

We loved that the house was on a farm - Our son loved watching the tractors and the cows. Unfortunately it was raining so we were not able to explore the farm, but we will definitely be back in the future!
