breakfast was perfect !! Local to western food , wide variation ! room was very specious , good lay out , welcome fruits and drink . Wide windows with automatic curtains. very clean . Amazing staff 11/10!! We used Kunming as a travelling hub to go to Laos by train. The Visa upon entry must be paid in dollars, that we did not have. Exchanging currency by foreigners turned out to be very difficult. Two women from the lobby staff went with us to multiple banks and got us the dollar bills. She even had to go home to get her ID and fill out many forms. We had to leave really early the next day and they even arranged to go boxes for us that we could fill with the breakfast that was already prepared. Amazing hospitality! Moreover, great facilities. Large, clean, beautiful and very well equipted rooms. Laundry room is great. Gym is small but functional. It was raining when we were there, but the pool looks great! Location close to train station (train to Laos leaves at the south station though, this took half an hour by didi in the morning for 50 RMB) so great! Insane value for money. Would recommend this to everyone visiting Kunming.

The service staff from the door to the counter desk to be room service to the breakfast table are all impeccable and knowledgeable. Love the details inside of the hotel room. The room is spacious and with a very comfortable bed. But if you intend to add another bed, it might be quite challenging. It does come with a day bed near the window. Just request an extra pillow and blanket. This hotel is next to a big shopping mall with all the high-end shops.

The rooms are spacious, nice and clean with very comfy beds. Breakfast is excellent with great choice. Staff is nice and at reception there is always at least one English-speaking person. The hotel is a good option if you want to have some relaxing days outside the city center, but without problem to go there (approx. 30 minutes taxi ride). Restaurants can be found directly opposite the hotel or approx. 2 km away at the lakeside.
