Five-Star Hotels in Zhangjiajie

I was very satisfied with the hotel I stayed at during this trip to Zhangjiajie, China! The B&B is near the southeast gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, about a 10-minute walk into the park. In addition to the advantages of the location near the scenic area, there is also the nearby green hills and green water, very suitable for vacation.

Good location, good ambience, very friendly staff. As i am non Chinese speaker, they helped me a lot in finding my lost luggage and talked with the respective authorities on my behalf to find them finally. Thanks heaps for that.

Beautiful location especially if you love nature

Staying in No.5 Lodge was a great experience for us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They did all possible for our comfort staying. Our room was very clean and cozy and in fact turned out to be better than in the photos. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. We were impressed with the atmosphere of hospitality and cordiality of the place. Special thanks to the hotel manager Frankie. He did all possible to make us feel at home and greatly helped us with all tickets to the National park, routes around and other our travel arrangements. Each member of the hotel team tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Free transfer to the park and back upon request was a nice bonus to the stating. We also liked very much the hotel restaurant. The choice and quality were at high level. After dinner we enjoyed some wine at bar relaxing after long walks. If you get tired from tracking you can stay for a master class or for a tea ceremony. We opted for the latter and enjoyed the traditional Chinese tea made by the very interesting and charismatic tea master. She explained some traditions and showed how to prepare different sorts of tea. Of course we bought some to try to repeat at home :) And if you show sincere interest maybe you will get a nice cat ;)

Excellent hotel with superb location. The breakfast was quite good and the staff were most helpful, particularly with arranging tickets. Remarkable value for money. Would certainly return.

The private villas are ideal for families – no shared spaces, very peaceful. Loved the free access to the 5-star hotel pool with golf cart transfers! Staff helped us book tickets and plan day trips effortlessly. Great location between all the major parks. Highly recommend!

Quite impressed. Grounds pleasantly restorative - ideal for unwinding. Facilities notably modern (surprisingly so), everything in working order. Staff discreet yet attentive when required. Airport shuttle proved useful. Post-sightseeing strolls: tranquil, with several agreeable resident creatures about. Pool area particularly commendable - sizeable and well-maintained. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Jolly good all round.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for both comfort and a perfect location. The property is situated right next to the entrance of the Zhangjiajie park, which makes exploring incredibly convenient. At the same time, it is tucked away in a quiet, scenic area surrounded by breathtaking mountains. It feels like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the city — peaceful, relaxing, and immersed in nature. Breakfasts deserve a special mention. They are not only delicious but also very generous in size — honestly, I could easily split them into two meals. Everything was fresh and nicely presented, which made mornings an absolute pleasure. The staff is another highlight of this hotel. Everyone we met was polite, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. And I have to give a HUGE thank you to Winnie. She was our hero during the entire trip — patiently answering all our endless questions, helping us plan routes, and even staying available 24/7 when we needed advice. She even provided us with beautifully designed maps that were so clear and detailed, other travelers asked us where we had gotten them. With Winnie’s support, we never felt lost or uncomfortable for even a moment. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. After a long day of exploring, it was a joy to return to such a calm and well-kept space. I also appreciated the little touches — from thoughtful amenities to the warm hospitality that made the hotel feel more personal than many larger, chain properties. If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, stunning surroundings, and true relaxation, this hotel is the perfect choice. I left with only the best impressions and would love to come back again.
