The place is absolutely wonderful, very close to the centre. It has a great atmosphere. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, we felt like at home. The breakfasts were also fantastic. We enjoyed the stay enormously.

I liked everything. It was perfect. A good mix of old and new. The rooms are very comfy. I loved that we could take our dog. The grounds are stunning. It was very good value for money.

Very spacious, very comfortable, very clean, lovely facilities. En-suite bathrooms to every bedroom and a downstairs toilet. Historical features like the beams, steps and old turnip-processing machine. Plenty of everything for 6 people. We didn’t bring our dog but appreciate the secure garden if we had done.
