Five-Star Hotels in Rethymno Town

The location was very convenient. Breakfast very good, varied and served very well by the staff. The staff was very friendly, professional and at all times at the service of the clients. There were many staff from Albania who were very professional, helpful and made our stay very pleasant.

The hotel itself is very clean and modern, the family room contains two single rooms with two bathrooms which are also very nice and big enough for a 4 personnes family. The garden, and the pool are also clean and nice, the personnel are very very kind, The food is so delicious and various.

The service was 5 star. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a fresh orange juice, a wet face towel as it was an uncomfortably hot day and a glass of water. Our bags were trolley up to our room. We were upgraded and our view was special. Location was great. Free entertainment every night. Every morning there was an impressive breakfast spogaaboard to choose from. Staff were impeccable. Pools were inviting. They have is a lovely little gift upon departure. Main market was a 15 min walk. Banana lounges were inclusive. They gave us complimentary watermelon on the beach. 10/10

We came 14 family members - grandparents, parents and grandchildren. .We came to celebrate 70th birthdays and 50th wedding anniversary We got adjoining rooms and it was comfortable. We loved the pools with the water slides. We loved the poolside buffets - very convenient with kids. The resort's beach is wonderful.

The staff, hospitality, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Spa facilities and services provided, massages, were outstanding. The food buffet had everything you could imagine and more. Your every need was attended to as a guest from the moment you arrived, how you were greeted and welcomed until the time you departed. 10 out of 10 service!

- from the moment you arrive, until the moment you leave, the staff make you feel like a VIP and the luxurious, tastefully decorated surroundings contribute to that feeling; - you are always greeted with a smile, which prompted the question: who smiles all the time without faking it? I certainly couldn't do it on a daily basis for a few months in a row; the fact is that Cretans seem to have a hospitality sense far above your average human and in many instances I could feel that their smiles and positive energy came from the heart and not from the job description; shoutout to LITSA, SOULA, CONSTANTINA and VASILIKI who made us feel at home and cared for; - restaurant/staff managers were always there, working with the team, lending them a hand and making sure the service stays high quality, which speaks volumes in terms of leadership standards; shoutout to ALEX, manager of the lunch bar, and his colleague, the manager of the restaurant, for all the pleasant interactions and for all their hard work; - three impeccable professionals handling the kid's club: MENY, MARIA and ELIZABETH kept the kids entertained the whole day long and even took them to lunch (which is included for the kids); - great functional and TRX training circuits lead by KARINA; - the room we had (located in the main building with private garden) was large, superbly furnished and provided quick access through its garden directly to the pool area, but also to the private beach (sunbeds and towels included); - impeccable room cleaning service, no compromises whatsoever; - high quality evening entertainment: tenors, violin, quality live music, not loud, but gentle and cultivated, up until 22 P.M., after which - silence, which was greatly appreciated, as it allowed everyone to rest; - rich and delicious breakfast and dinner buffets with tasty egg specials every morning; - great salt water pool; - you could always find unoccupied sunbeds at the beach and pool irrespective of the time of day;

Lovely staff and so competent. We got what we booked and more. They put the “all inclusive” meaning to a different level as it was more than expected. Good food and great service, dinner by the sea in a lovely and so attentive atmosphere. Waiters at the activity pool bar and at the Lobsteria great service. Spa treatments soo good. My husband also booked the new chiropractor treatment and didn’t regret, then we had other 3 treatments with a professional masseur that we definitely recommend. Just 10 mins by car from Rethymno.

We loved everything about our stay at Uzenie Hotel! From the first day it felt so easy and comfortable to be there: the staff are just amazing, always smiling, super friendly and ready to help with anything. Upon arrival we were told that the best thing about the hotel is the people working there and I couldn’t agree more. Our room with a private pool was perfect. Big, clean, stylish, everything is new. The whole hotel looks new and it feels really nice just to walk around. The food was great as well, both breakfast and dinner buffets were so tasty with lots of choice. Honestly the best food we had on the island was here at the hotel restaurant haha The beach is beautiful and very clean. We also tried yoga in the morning by the sea and it was such a cool experience. You can tell the hotel does everything to make guests happy. After this stay we went to another 5 star hotel in Crete and it was not even close to Uzenie. This place is really special and one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. If you can book it, do it.
