the hotel is really really wonderful. we enjoyed our stay very much and the pools are just amazing! the hotel is surrounded by wonderful nature and the garden is crazy nice with a lot of flowers. we lived in the deluxe room with the nice dolphine picture on the wall. everything was really clean and the veranda was stunning. directly in front of the veranda is a small own garden and you have a very nice view on the sea and the vulcano ijen. Also the activity's you can do around the hotel if you meet a motorbike are very nice (beautiful waterfalls for example). one of the nicest things is, that the hotel has a free shuttle to the town. additionally the staff is really friendly and the wifi is good.

We stayed 3 nights in the Damai, in one of the villas with private pool. The accommodations were truly fantastic and the domain is very well maintained. When entering the lobby, the first thing you see is the open swimming pool with an amazing view, located near the bar and restaurant. After check-in we were guided to our room, an amazing villa with private pool and with full privacy garden. The room is nice, very clean, with an outdoor shower and bath. They staff cleans the room every day, and comes by multiple times a day, to open the window covers in the moring (when you're at breakfast), clean and make up bed, close the covers in the evening and prepare bed for sleep, or bring fresh fruits. Overall the staff of the Damai is so friendly and welcoming, the restaurant serves great food and breakfast. This was truly a remarkable stay and I would definitely recommend staying in the Damai if you're looking for rest and calmed. Thank you, I would really like to come back one day.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which immediately made me feel at home. Umah Lusa is a credit to those who envisioned it, created it and work every day to ensure the highest standards of genuine hospitality. The setting is spectacular; an almost heavenly hilltop aspect, seemingly above the clouds and a world away from the tourist crowds. The views over the hills towards the sea, the stunning pool, and the beautiful gardens are just the start. The stand-alone rooms are quietly luxurious, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The in-house massage was excellent, and the steam room and sauna were a welcome addition. The restaurant setting is sublime at any time of day, and we enjoyed everything we tried from the extensive menu, which offers both local flavours and Western options, all done very well. However, the highlight of our stay was the staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their welcoming smiles and genuine engagement were a sheer delight and will live long in our memories of this stunning property.

I cannot overstate how wonderful this resort was! The photos you see here are exactly how it looks like in reality, with stunning mountain views, occasional misty weather, and, depending on the room you book, an infinity pool in your own villa. I personally spent hours just relaxing in the pool and watching the hues of the sky change. The staff have also been unbelievably helpful and the restaurant is absolutely top-notch. It simply was the best resort I've ever been to.
