Umah Lusa is a credit to those who envisioned it, created it and work every day to ensure the highest standards of genuine hospitality. The setting is spectacular; an almost heavenly hilltop aspect, seemingly above the clouds and a world away from the tourist crowds. The views over the hills towards the sea, the stunning pool, and the beautiful gardens are just the start. The stand-alone rooms are quietly luxurious, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The in-house massage was excellent, and the steam room and sauna were a welcome addition. The restaurant setting is sublime at any time of day, and we enjoyed everything we tried from the extensive menu, which offers both local flavours and Western options, all done very well. However, the highlight of our stay was the staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their welcoming smiles and genuine engagement were a sheer delight and will live long in our memories of this stunning property.

The staff went all the way to make our stay unforgettable. 4 years after Covid our honeymoon finally happend and The Damai made sure we celebrated in style. From the room to the massages, the complimentary transport services and the brilliant food, it was the best we ever had. And lets not forget the beautiful flowers we got at our candle light diner. The location was amazing, jungle, waterfalls, "the real Bali". No "cool" vegan restaurants, bars, tourists, or crowded markets. Real Bali it is - jungle, waterfalls, narrow mountain roads and local people living very poorly, with lot of smiles, and they are very helpful. I recommend Bali Hidden Space accommodation with a good heart. Extra good service and heartfelt kindness, a family - that is who they are. We just arrived at the time of their religious holiday, we saw beautiful balinese dance and music, it was amazing and absolutely local. The hotel's young chef is Ketut, he cooks magnificently, you can ask for anything delicate and he cooks it. We ate many good food and he made them all. The polite young manager, also called Ketut, is playing beautifully on balinese musical instruments, only for us, as kindness. We thank them, their whole family to make our travel so beautiful. One advice: you need a good car/motorbike there, because mountain roads are very narrow and steep, no luxury car, but a strong one.

wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. their cooks create wonderful dishes. the little house is cosy, clean. the bed is comfortble. you can make your own tea and they have filtered water. every day they offer some activities (e.g. Yoga class or making a hat out of coconutleaves) The pictures on booking do not do justice to the accommodation. it is even more beautyful. the staff is very nice. they love children and they where so nice to our daughter. we can recommend this place.
