It was supposed to be an overnight stay for a visit to Taj Mahal, I was expecting a usual tourist trap for 70$ or so. The hotel was ridiculously nice, the kind of place where you'd actually want to spend a vacation. I was pleasantly surprised by the price / quaity ratio, including in-room dining, massage, the guide the hotel arranged for me, etc.

Overall, I had a good experience with the hotel. The staff was helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was big and bright. Breakfast was good and the restaurant Onyx on site was delicious

The hotel is large, and extremely elegant. However, the best part is its staff, both at the door, in reception and in the restaurant, and spa. They were super nice, you felt welcome, and they did their level best for you to feel at home. They remembered my name also. The first day I got a voucher for 500 INR of the Spa manager, and I had an excellent massage by him later in the afternoon, and the next day, one of the best pedicures I have ever experienced. I also got a very positive surprise during the dinner in the evening, in the note’s dining room. The lady serving me told me that the hotel would pay for my dinner. I say something was wrong, but when she checked, she came back and told me, the hotel will provide your dinner. First time in my long life I have experienced that. The spa was elegant, as expected, and the pool very nice and refreshing. Due to the heat and sun, I used it in the late afternoon, and wisely, the pool was open to 10 pm.

The Taj Hotel in Agra exceeded all my expectations, especially with its incredible food offerings. As someone with selective eating habits, I was thoroughly impressed by the variety and quality of the meals – everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly, kind, and welcoming, making the environment feel both comfortable and safe. The rooftop offers a view of the Taj Mahal, great for sunrise, and in the evenings, it’s the perfect cozy spot to unwind after dinner. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra.

We loved our family stay. Friendly staff, cleaning and amenities standards were well maintained. Breakfast had alot of varities and chefs were great. Restaurant waiting staff (young lady) ignored our table cleaning and coffee order request on a multiple occassions but senior staff took it under consideration and rectified it immediately. Overall great gateway travelling from New Zealand.

I had an excellent experience at the Grand Imperial. The hotel is very beautiful and gives an old traditional and royal feeling. The room was clean and confortable with heating. The staff is very welcoming and courteous. I only stayed one night but wished I could spend more time there.
