A very cute property in Bentota. The resort is really amazing, worth staying. The beach is just a small walk away, crossing the rail path- which gives another wonderful experience. The food is simply amazing.. The best we had in our trip to Sri Lanka. Special mention to the wonderful Chef and all the staff for the wonderful hospitality

I cannot write an objective review for the place since from me this was like a pilgrimage because I am just a huge fan of Geoffrey Bawa. Just being there was a dream come true! The staff is exceptional, very thoughtful and well mannered. The small touches like the happy hour where they serve home infused gin and tonic ( Bawa’s favourite) by the Lunuganga is an experience in itself. The sense was of history , his whimsical sense of design , his attention to detail is a learning in itself.. What a legacy !

It really felt like going back in time; beautifully decorated by Geoffrey Bawa giving the typical tropical movement vibe. Very tranquil place, the garden is stunning, breakfast delicious and you have the luxury of the swimming pool and just a 5 minute walk away also the quiet beach. The train running through the garden only every once in a while makes it extra special. The noise never bothered me while I am a light sleeper (as of midnight until +/- 05:00 the train doesn't pas by anymore anyway). There are many guests who have been coming back for years. That already says enough. The staff is incredibly friendly. Absolutely loved it here, thank you for this special experience and truly hope to come back in the future!

The staff is extremely professional and friendly, and the garden is beautifully groomed, located on the edge of a river. The food is delicious and presented artistically. I loved every moment here. The doctors, yoga, and treatments are great! It's a must stay for 7 or 14 days. I'll definitely be back.

I liked the most my room, so big and I had everything I need, huge bed, nice bath, mini fridge, big balcony with breath taking view to the ocean. Pool is always cold enough and clean. I don't usually go to the gym on vacation, but they had one, so I was using almost everyday, big plus. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Many seafood restaurants around hotel, so I could go for dinner every day to different one. Also they got me complimentary dinner in the hotel before I leave, cause I was staying long- 9 nights in it. Quality food, big portions, just wow!
