The Impression all-inclusive luxury resort inaugurated in Isla Mujeres in May 2023 and we stayed in 5 nights mid-August. This is our un-biased (not sponsored) review: Arriving by catamaran from the port of Cancun - Marina Hacienda del Mar - you are greeted by your personal butler - in our case Alexis, whose hospitality exceeded our expectations - who will show you around the hotel and its facilities: A rooftop terrace with infinity pool, 3 pools overlooking the bay, and a magnificent pontoon offering a wave-free beach with turquoise water (and a slide to jump into!). The views are breathtaking you can’t get enough of it (see pictures). Restaurants: SAKE - Japanese fusion where every dish is good (we tried it all). The teppanyaki experience is also a must. WILDFIRE - steakhouse with a wide choice of meats and side dishes. Lobster mac and cheese and entraña highly recommended. SPEZIA - Italian style that has nothing to envy of the restaurants on the Italian coast (where I live). Focaccia, burrata, fritto misto and lobster tagliatelle are a must. LA VISTA and MERCATO offer Mexican and international cuisine, as well as an à la carte breakfast. CACAO - coffee shop with delicious pastries, open 24/24. Bars: UNIK - rooftop cocktail and party bar with DJ ISOLA - lobby bar with a wide selection of cocktails SHARK - friendly pool bar TEMPLE - pre/after dinner terrace with themed nights BEACH - actually a hidden bar with an excellent daily sunbeds service, thanks to the hospitality and proactivity of Elio and José. The ROOMS are spacious, the equipment modern and the materials splendid. Our air-conditioning was faulty, which led to an immediate upgrade, thanks to the responsiveness of Alexis and Muriel at the front desk. ACTIVITIES are listed daily and sent to you via message by your butler. They include: Meditation and yoga, arts and crafts, mixology, sunset watching on a catamaran, live music and romantic dinners.

The location is fantastic! Close to the main strip and the main beach. Very quiet at night too. The massage was excellent and golf car hire - definitely recommend! Staff were all lovey and very helpful.

What an amazing hotel in a fantastic location. It is right on Playa Norte, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The hotel has beautiful and spacious rooms with balconies. But the biggest plus is definitely the beautiful beach area with sunbeds for their guests. Breakfast is fantastic and served in the beach club OCEANVS. We spent our last days in Mexico here and enjoyed a couple of luxurious beach days there. Absolutely recommended!

Amazing location, on the best beach of the island. Wonderful staff, fun, respectful, and always helpful. Definitely recommend staying here, wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I come back to the Island. This is the best property by far on Isla, and a thousand times better than Casa Jaguar next door. Thanks to the staff and the manager for an amazing stay.

The location was great and the staff was exceptional with service at the pool and for each meal. The front desk helped us to rent a golf cart which worked out great. Each meal was a high lite to our stay, amazing breakfast buffet with many healthy selections to choose from. Thank you to everyone who made this stay a great memory for us. We would highly recommend this location for anyone stay at Isla Mujeres.

Everything it was AMAZING !!! loved the staff they made this place even more enjoyable!!! The breakfast buffet was delicious, the beach was stunning the location was fabulous and perfect for exploring the beautiful island. Dani & Antonio at the beach bar were lovely gentleman & service was fantastic. Josè at the reception was such a lovely man and his smile was so welcoming and warm. Rolando at house keeping was so lovely too 😀 Will definitely be back !🫶 well done to your beautiful team !!

Could not recommend Almare more! From the moment we got there until we left we were amazed at the people and the facilities. The staff were amazing. Always made us feel welcomed and at home. The rooms and food/drinks offered were sensational and it was definitely worth the money. This was for our honeymoon and we cannot wait to come back!     Nothing. This hotel is literally still on it's beginning and there are SO MANY fuckups that it's unbelievable. Service is for real the worst I've ever experienced. No matter how many fuckups were there - they didn't give ANY compensation. NOT A LUXURY HOTEL

    The breakfast was great! So much good and healthy food to choose from. The staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant was always very clean and beautiful. Satay was our favorite and Greta and Anna were excellent waitresses! So friendly yet professional! Kudos to both and the chef!

    It is well maintained, but it is closer to a 3+ star rather than 5 star hotel. It is 3 star on the standing of amenities, how front line interact with hosts and quality of garments like towels and linings

    Perfect location, and having a sliding glass door for our daughter to sleep in the room but with privacy with us was perfection. Usually with hotels, when it's her bedtime, we need to be very quiet, but the blinds and the doors let us stay up later watching a movie without disturbing her. We were in the family suite.

    What isn’t there to like? This hotel by far was the best I’ve seen and I’ve travelled around the world a fair bit. Everywhere you looked it was perfect, you felt the luxury feeling as soon as the boat picks you up. The butler service Omar was fantastic and all staff in the whole resort were exceptional.
