One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The view was AMAZING from our balcony. The TWO pools were also beautiful, and the beach was easily accessible. There were even robes to wear and sunloungers by the sea and by the pool. We used the sauna, while was great, and we ate the buffet dinner which was also great (though the desserts could have been better). Breakfast was also great. Staff were all friendly. Had a lovely stay!

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and a private beach just few steps from the hotel, as well as the spa centre. The historic core of Opatija is 2.5 km away. What we were concerned about was lack of walking green zones for our dogs. Dog beach was accessible by car (6-7 km far) with parking difficulties.

The modern conference centre is illuminated by natural daylight and caters to various types of events and conferences. There are several things, so let's start off with the multi-national staff that likes to chit chat, be it in Croatian or in English, and you feel welcomed. After that we have the restaurant, that serves an amazing breakfast and an even better evening buffet, I would even say that it's one of the best evening buffets I saw so far. Room service is top notch and they will go out of their way to get you whatever you need. Underground parking is also a must for me personally, and they deliver on that front as well. Last, but not least, is the location. You can easily spend a week at this property and still find out new things, within or around it. If you plan to book, then book for a couple of days, it's definitely worth it.

Built in 2011, all modern design rooms at Lone Hotel by Maistra Collection have free Wi-Fi and a private balcony. They are equipped with all modern facilities, including flat-screen satellite TV and laptop safety box. Every room has air conditioning. Our experience in Lone Hotel was excellent. The location is fantastic: with the private beach right in front of the hotel, nice green walking areas accessible almost directly from the hotel and the city centre at 10mins walking through the beautiful port. Our dog also loved it, as it is a real pet-friendly hotel with very good room and balcony size. Great service as well from all the employees and amazing food in all their restaurants. 100% recommended :)
