The breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious, high-quality dishes to suit all tastes. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and beautifully presented. The combination of exceptional food, breathtaking river views, and a comfortable, well-located hotel made our stay in Luxor memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city. A special mention to George at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful. He attended to all our queries and concerns with professionalism and genuine care, ensuring everything was promptly resolved and that our stay was as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

This Steigenberger hotel is situated in the heart of Luxor and provides modern accommodation with stunning views of the Nile. The spacious rooms are air conditioned and feature satellite TV. We received a free update to a Nile View room, which was had indeed a very beautiful view. The room was spacious and clean. As I was not feeling well on our departure day I was able to book the medical service the hotel provides (a doctor comes directly to your room), which was very helpful. Also the hotel was so kind to leave us stay in the room longer than the usual check-out time for free, so that I was able to rest until our flight. Due to my condition we also used the room service, that provides different dishes for decent prices. We also tried the Libanese restaurant on site, which had very nice food! We can highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely come back!

The rooftop terrace was one of our favourite spots to relax between excursions and chat with other guests — such a lovely atmosphere. The food exceeded our expectations, with fresh fish every day and a good mix of international and Egyptian dishes. Everything felt well-prepared and thoughtful. Most importantly, the service was outstanding. The crew were attentive, kind, and always remembered our preferences. A highlight was when they surprised us with a tray of Egyptian cookies to take home after we mentioned how much we liked them. This level of hospitality truly sets the Lily apart. We would highly recommend this cruise to friends and family — it made our Nile trip unforgettable.
