La Réserve is set in former noble residence on the banks of the Tarn River in a large park. It offers an outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views of the river, which is surrounded by sun loungers. I cannot recommend La Reserve too highly. Helene, her staff, the place, the ambience, the room, the restaurant and the whole experience are absolutely superb. I have no criticisms whatsoever.

Built in 1873, the Belfry & Spa by Ligne St Barth is a 5-star hotel located in a private park, in the historic heart of Lourdes. The view from the hot tub was so tranquil and relaxing. As much as the heat of the water. The staff - especially Lily at the front desk, but everyone - was perfect. Dinner was pricy at the restaurant on site, but it was spectacular! Kudos to both chefs. We ate there twice during our 10 day stay. We always travel with bicycles and the property accommodated our bikes beautifully. The hotel felt like an oasis of calm in the middle of a busy part of Lourdes.
