Settled in the Dartmoor national park, it is a very quiet and comforting get away. You can have a short walk with children from there as well as long ones. Plenty of nice activities in the hotel (boardgames, crocket, tennis, walks). The place is full of charm and history. The staff is extremely kind and efficient. They made the stay easy for a single parent, offering private dining. The kids menu was varied, delicious and decently priced. The restaurant was a treat for me as well.

Situated opposite Rock Park and only a short level walk to the town centre, this modern 4-star hotel offers easy access to the countryside and beaches of North Devon. The location was perfect as its close to the town centre. The staff were so happy and helpful. Parking was good. Food in the bar was very good.
