Located near Windsor, Great Fosters - Near Windsor is a fine example of Elizabethan architecture set within 50 acres. Absolutely stunning hotel, beautiful gardens, super heated swimming pool, superb breakfast, all staff extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely be staying again, first class!

Rated a 5-star inn by the AA, the 600-year-old Crown Inn combines traditional character with modern room luxuries, including flat-screen TVs and DVD players. The whole inn is just spectacular. The fact that you can stay in an inn that’s running since the 17. century is beyond everything. The location is amazing, there’s a church in front of the inn which was built in 1190. I stayed in the Tudor Parlour room with my partner, it was clean and lovely, the beams through the walls are just beautiful. There was a tray with tea bags and coffee and sweet treats which is always a nice touch in a room. The sheets and the towels were extra soft. Not to mention the bathtub in the bathroom, it was really nice! The dining area with the beams and old tables was also just beyond beautiful with the lights and the whole atmosphere. We had breakfast with many options to choose from with different kind of teas and coffee. We also had a dinner in the inn which again was delicious. The manager and the staff, hence the locals were kind and sweet and I can’t wait to come back in the future!
