Set in Pescocostanzo in the mountains of Abruzzo, Relais Ducale Spa & Pool is just 5 km from the Rivisondoli ski resort. Its free wellness centre features an indoor pool, sauna and steam bath.
Relais Ducale is made of white stone, typical of Majella National Park. Its interior design combines contemporary and traditional styles with rare antiques and pieces of furniture.
This property listed as a 5 starshotel does not deserve this label. It is a nice hotel but far away from 5 stars standards

Unique experience. Room and facilities were maintained to a very high standard, with surprisingly excellent WiFi! Breakfast was superb, great variety of traditional food served in a lovely restaurant terrace. Staff at breakfast were very attentive.

The balcony view was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed breakfast delivered to the room while admiring the view. The room was spacious and felt luxurious with the spa tub. The host was flexible for an unexpected late check in, and they were responsive via WhatsApp for any assistance needed.

Absolutely gorgeous, tranquil,calm and quiet. Accommodation is beautiful , upmarket farm style decor .The wine farm is only 2 hours from Rome and fantastic stop over when taking a road trip . Wine tasting was superb , very good wines and Valentina our host was amazing, Roberto the housekeeper is a gem

The hosts Vito and Monica were wonderful. The house is delightful, superbly equipped and very well designed. Bed really comfortable - heating excellent and great outdoor space. Very secure home. Hosts went out of their way to be helpful - thank you so much.The house is perfectly situated on a quiet road just outside Sulmona.

We were very proud to be the first guests to stay at this lovely house. We were given a very warm and friendly welcome. The house is very spacious and absolutely immaculate and very well appointed. 5 star accommodation! The location is perfect for walking into the centre, about 20 minutes but it is as the time, very peaceful with a lovely view of the old town and mountains. Breakfast was really fresh and all made locally with great coffee and tea for us English.

The hotel staff was really professional and friendly including the exceptional service in the restaurant. I have never experienced this kind of weater and chef in Italy who was paying attention on our well-being all time and delivered everything without requesting any extras but delivering everything automatically. The meals were amazing. The room was very clean with brand new and comfortable furnitures.
