The location of the hotel was truly excellent. There was a Mega Don Quijote store right across the street, and another Don Quijote inside the plaza where the hotel is located. Besides that, it was in a very central part of Shibuya. However, if you plan to use the subway or arrive from the airport with luggage, walking from the station to the hotel might be a bit difficult, since it’s not right next to the station but about a 5–6 minute walk. I’d recommend keeping that in mind. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. We had a few different situations with our luggage, and they assisted us every time. We honestly couldn’t find any negative points about the hotel. The only thing is that it was a bit expensive compared to nearby hotels. Also, the room was somewhat small. Did it work for us? Yes, because I kept the room very tidy. But if you don’t keep things as organized, you might feel a bit cramped with luggage. Still, it wasn’t a big problem.

Door een aanbieding deze keer de upgrade van het 'gewone' villa Fontaine geboekt. Het maakt zijn status nog steeds waar en teert niet enkel op de perfecte locatie naast de luchthaven. De kamers zijn op zich zijn niet anders dan die van het andere gedeelte. Het biedt daarentegen wel meer rust. Je voelt je meer te gast in een echt hotel dan in een overbevolkt resort. Ook het ontbijt dat aan tafel geserveerd wordt met een beperkt aanvullend buffetje sluit bij dat gevoel aan. Eerder iets voor een koppeltje dan voor een gezin met kinderen. De toegang tot de Onsen was inbegrepen, maar de drukte daar maakte het toch een beetje hectisch. Ook al is het inbegrepen in de prijs, je zal je een weg moeten banen doorheen de ietwat verwarrende lay-out van de betaalmachine om je nul yen af te rekenen. Er zijn veel verschillende types baden van heet over zoutig tot ijskoud. Die laatste is erg welkom na een verblijf in de reuzengrote sauna of het stoombad. Wie voor de eerste keer naar een Onsen gaat zal déze in zijn geheel erg overweldigend en verwarrend vinden.

This is such a delightful place to stay. The staff are incredible and so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location only a few minutes walk from Hibiya station and a 10 min walk to Tokyo station.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. Location, history and above all the staff was superb!

Marunouchi Hotel is a minute's walk from Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit and a 10-minute taxi ride from Tsukiji Fish Market. Clean and well located- loved the linens and well appointed amenities. Great staff

Het Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is het eerste Grand Nikko Hotel in Japan. De deuren gingen open op 1 juli 2016. Property is perfect, located next to metro station in center of Odaiba island. Service is really high profile, rooms have wonderfull view.

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel ligt op een centrale locatie in Shibuya en biedt ruime kamers met een panoramisch uitzicht op de stad, een fitnesscentrum en een scala aan eetgelegenheden. - Good location to 3 malls and Shibuya station. Walk for 2mins to the overhead bridge and that bridge connects to Shibuya Stream mall, Shibuya Scramble Square Mall and Shibuya Station. - Room size was decent in its class. Bed was exceptionally comfortable to sleep in! Amenities were good too. Bathtub is good. - Hotel staff was friendly and service was good. Allowed for early checking when they can. Also when I was calling the taxi, the driver spoke in Japanese so the staff helped to speak to the driver for me. - Breakfast was good! Decent variety but quality. The Japanese dishes were delicious.
